Since 1925 the Sandwich Glass Museum has been interpreting the glassmaking history of the Town of Sandwich, and since 1980 we have been actively fostering contemporary glass art and the artists who make it.

Our theme for 2025, the bi-centennial of glassmaking in Sandwich, is "Illuminating the Past, Sparking the Future"

We are currently open Wed-Sun 9:30 to 4 (our winter hours), with glass blowing demonstrations hourly on the hour, a world-class Museum Gift Shop with gorgeous glass art handcrafted by local glass artists, and lots of special exhibits and events.

As a non-profit Historical Society and Museum, we rely heavily on the generous support of our community.
